Whisper

Speaking softly
yet with strength,

Notice the wisest
individual is also known
as a whisperer.

In a room full
of noise and chaos,
the strongest can be heard
in their silence.

An ability to take in;
the movements of horses,
behaviors in dogs,
observations of children,
humans desire to follow.

Our world has become
filled with noise-
people close nature outside
missing the sound of gentle rain
as air conditioners or heaters hum
while the snow drifts softly to the ground.

In doing so--losing
touch with our natural
rhythms--can you hear
the voice inside your head
granting you the knowledge of nature?

A whisperer can
listen through wisdom,
experience the fullness when
a candle fills a dark room.

Words flow slowly--
engaged in conversation
a strong quiet voice speaks
